Blacknor Technology was established in September 2002 after a successful Management Buy-Out from Tyco International. The Company was previously trading under Thorn Marine Systems.
The Company has ISO 9001:1994 and will shortly acquire ISO 9001:2000 accreditation in October 2003.
Blacknor offer a complete service ranging from prototyping to single crimp, complex harnesses, loom manufacture and moulded cable assemblies.
Blacknor specialises in small to medium batch production, covering a very broad industry sector including internal wiring modules, signal and telecom and automotive.
Blacknor have in the past specialised in MoD and Mil specification cables and harnesses for the Ministry of Defence and base our quality control on the stringent requirements of the military requirements. We will apply those requirements to all our business, knowing that a quality product will leave our premises.
